Since joining the mommyhood, movie nights (true movie nights, the ones with overpriced, opergreased popcorn and intolerable crowds) are few and far between. For the occasional opportunity, I try to keep a stockinette project on hand to grab on the fly.
This summer has brought an unexpected wealth of movie dates. Where last year's movie project was the felted backpack, 2008 is the year of the tank top.
Case in point: Mamma Mia. Loved it. Worked on this:
Monica, size 4, for little Lucy. Oriental Jade and Coral Sunset.
Case in point: Stepbrothers. Loved it. Laughed till I peed (sadly, another remnant of initiation into the Mommyhood). Worked on this:
Monica, size 4 for wee Lexi. Peridot on the body, multiple scraps on the ruffle.
Hmm.... Shopaholic movie? The Women? What ever will I knit?
We saw tropic thunder recently - so funny.
I can't get anything knit-wise done lately.
