Dede's girls
I can't believe it's that time of the year again, where the air gets cooler and Grandma's anniversary approaches. She passed away three years ago now. Our yearly visit means a great deal to the women of our family, and we're hoping to give my own girls a sense of their family history.
Here are the years in pictures.
2003, with newborn Amy, my mom, her sister and Grandma.
2005, the first anniversary of her passing.
This time last year.
And this past Sunday.

I think she and Grandpa would be terribly proud.

Love the photos! A couple years ago we managed to get some five generation photos with my grandmother before she passed away. And we were all girls too! My grandmother, my mom, my sister and I, my sister's daughter and her little girl, and my daughter, with her three little girls. I'm so glad we got the photos before gramma was gone.

That's a lovely progression of photos. Interesting, I'm a Kemp (before marriage). Our family roots seem to be from Florida and the Bahamas, though. We're definitely not cold weather Kemps.

The flowers are beautiful - so are Dede's girls. My nose is all tingly. 'scuze me.

You all look great! Pretty ladies. (I see you changed back to the short, dark hair!)
Yup, they'd be proud. :)
