Sadly, no sock kit arrived for me today. No less than three mail trucks taunted me in my neighbourhood today, so I took revenge.
Bright, lacy, turquoise revenge.
You know the drill.
Cast it off, and it looks something like, as Steph pointed out, an egg crate mattress pad.
Drown it, then proceed to abuse the living piss out of it.

I think I may really be able to knit lacy holiday gifts this year. Diamond Fantasies, Flower Baskets and Lace Leaves.
Gotta scoot; I've got a shawl to admire!

She's a beauty Deb. Love the motto at the top of your page. :-)

Very very well done. Its really lovely. I am amazed at how freakin' fast you are!! Barb from NS pointed it out to me at the Yarn Harlot gathering in Halifax but I was so distracted by Stephanie in all her harlotty glory that I even for a second forgot my own name so, there ya go. You are SPEEDY!

That's a lovely shawl! How long did it take you to finish? (Or maybe I don't want to know...)

Wicked! How long did it take you to pin it out? That's what really freaks me out about knitting lace (and actually finishing it). Maybe if I invest in some blocking wires, finishing lace won't be so intimidating.

WOO! So fast! I love it. I must get around to knitting one for myself soon.
I will try so hard to remember the leaf lace shawl pattern for the next time I see you...
