My first socks were started in that Hot Pink stuff. I was encouraged to use 2mm needles. I nearly went blind. One should not go from working with primarily worsted weight yarn to socks on 2mm needles. I almost gave up on socks because of it.
Then I knit up a pair of socks on 2.75mm in opal self-striping, that pair was finished before my pink socks. .75mm should not make a difference, but it really does! It took me 6months to complete the pink socks.
The moral of the story? Don't knit socks for the first time on really tiny needles out of yarn that, while pretty, does not hold your interest, in a plain pattern.
oh, your socks all look fantastic btw.

Wow you are roboknitting! Beautiful socks. Love the hot pink.

Love the newest additions to the Plunge.

You've knit 3 socks and I'm still untangling yarn. Wow. They are all beautiful! I don't know how I've never noticed that MagKnits pattern before! I actually made an entire baby blanket with that stitch pattern last year. ( http://farm1.static.flickr.com/49/146524931_fb79073a61.jpg )

Funny enough, I tried it once on socks and never quite made it work. I've got lots of wild yarn that will be perfect for that pattern.

Theresa

Coming along well!

Wow - now that I'm up to speed...
1. Congrats on the new knitty pattern!
2. Man you're fast with the socks.
3. Love the hats - I've been admiring that pattern...

Did you finish that sock already? Would you mind sending me a pic of it finished? I am kind of hoping to collect as many pictures of it done as I can and give it it's own little gallery on my blog. Toe-ups are becoming a big favorite with me lately. Totally changing the way I look at socks.
