Frog city.
Hours of work undone.
Piles of Handmaiden meticulously rolled up.
Nothing on the needles.
No time for many details. Suffice it to say, the misshapen blob of a circle fell to the back of my knees, and the "drapiest" part of the shaping fell into a bustle formation in the vicinity of my posterior.
That's only one of the stories.
I answered a perfectly innocent question about a recent project: How did you make out with Tubey in Cascade 220?
My answer? Looks good, but not the best on my body. I don't have the heart to photograph myself in it.
WTF? All that effort, and I don't even see fit to be photographed in it?
I don't think so.
It will make excellent clogs.

Ugh, nothing is worse that getting though a project only to discover it's not "you." I have a few of those in my closet, too.

Sorry to hear about your knitting nightmare. On a positive note, I simply adore your website. I came upon it accidently when googling knitting sites. I am a novice knitter- ok, one who struggles on a daily basis! You're an inspiration!

I'm sorry to have asked you on the knittyboard and brought up... painful memories ;) I'm sure the yarn will be happier as clogs anyway, especially if that lovely baby models them as well.

Hello, Deb!
I sent you an e-mail, to the address listed in your blog, asking about your experience with the Arthritis Marathon... Any tips?
Thanks,
Anita
