Yay for knitty! Yay for hockey!
Your pattern made my (otherwise icky) day! I only wish I still lived in Michigan with people who understand the awesomeness of hockey.

whoa! great pattern! I was just looking at my blade covers (they are store bought and starting to look ragged) and thinking... hm, I should knit a pair... great timing!! :)
My two biggest hobbies these days: hockey/ice skating and knitting/spining. ;)

Squee indeed. That pattern is a nifty idea. Also, I miss playing hockey.
I read your blog, but I don't think I've commented before. I like Nova Scotia knitbloggers, as I am from Nova Scotia but have recently been transplanted all the way to New Brunswick. Heh.
