It's September. Barely, but it is.
The new Knitty is mere days away, and I can hardly stand it!
So here's a piece of homework for my fellow Knitty-philes: go out and get a 100g skein of Opal solid. Any shade at all will do. You will need it for my first-ever published pattern. It's a sock. And it's easy.
On the knitting front, Jen's Jaywalkers have been frogged a third and possibly final time. I had forgotten how tough it can be to adapt the pattern for different yarns, and I'd only used KP Simple Stripes thus far. Dancing is proving a challenging, and I may just switch to a different pattern. Maybe one of the new Magknits ones?
Michelle's blanket is coming along. I just picked up for the 33rd of 99 planned squares. I think I'll wash it in Ivory Snow to block it. It needs that great baby scent that universally sets off biological clocks.
Have a great long weekend!
